Scoop - Australian Shepherd Dog for Adoption in Austin, Texas

We rescued Scoop’s mom from a rural shelter we help when she was still pregnant. Thankfully, one of our wonderful fosters brought her into her home so she would have a safe place to have her babies. Scoop was born in July, and she is a very good girl. She has completed her veterinary care, so she’s ready to find a forever family.

Scoop is a cuddly girl, and she loves to be with her people. She likes to play with other dogs and cats too. She loves kids and has been with children as young as 6. She is learning how to walk on a leash, and is almost house trained.

Scoop is 12 weeks old and weighs 10 pounds. She is an Australian Shepherd mix, and we think she will be about 35 pounds as an adult. She is spayed, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. She is also microchipped, heartworm negative and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Scoop can arrive in Latham, New York on 11/7. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out the application found here: https://throwadogabone.org/adopt.
