Shepherd and Labrador Retriever Dogs Available for Adoption

Meet BOROLO! We are calling him Borolo the Bear because he looks like a little fuzzy bear cub!

Barolo is part of our "wine" litter - yes, we need to get creative here!

He is 6.8 lbs and 3 months old as of April 29th. We think he's a Lab/Shepherd/brown bear (kidding!) mix. Truth is, we don't know his exact breed but we do know he's a mix of many! Best guess on full grown weight is probably no more than 30 lbs given current age and weight.

Barolo is a very sweet puppy! His foster and rescuer says he will often look at him in the eyes; he enjoys human connection. He has been virtually silent so far and he's been very calm. Compared to his sister, he is the more chill one. He likes to laze around and chill!

He is good with other dogs! We know he'd be great with cats as well given his age.

He would be good with children as well given his age and sweet demeanor. He's a typical sweet puppy and you can't go wrong!

Barolo was found abandoned with his 9 siblings in a field by a Good Samaritan who picked him and his sister, Chianti, up. Unfortunately, the rescuer wasn't able to take them all due to space but these little two are the lucky ones and we can't wait to find them the best homes!

***Any prospective adopter is welcome to do a virtual meet and greet with the rescuer (Adoption Coordinator will organize!).***

***Barolo is currently being fostered in Puerto Rico and will only fly to his forever home once adopted! We think he'd be a great pup for the tri-state area (NY/NJ/CT) so we've listed him here but he can be sent to various airports along the East Coast! We can easily arrange a flight into JFK/EWR/BLD/BWI/DCA/IAD and many more airports! We are open to adopters in the mid-Atlantic and Northeast. Please don't hesitate to ask us if we will ship to your location. We also organize all in-cabin flights with a flight volunteer to the mainland U.S. - it's an easy process!***
