This is PINTO!
***Pinto is being fostered in Annapolis, MD and is ready for a meet and greet!***
He is ~19lbs and estimated to be 3.5 months old. We think he is a Lab / shepherd mix. He has THE CUTEST little nose with pink spots on it (hence, the name Pinto which means “spot” in Spanish!).
Pinto’s foster points out that he is incredibly sweet and snuggly. He is just starting to come out of his shell and follows his foster mom around the house! He loves to lie on the couch next to her and chill out. As puppies go, he is definitely on the low energy side!
So far, he isn’t a barker. He might whine briefly when he’s settling down in his crate but that’s about it - and he pays no mind to the dogs barking around him either.
He is doing very well with leash training and is getting the hang of it quickly.
He also figured out stairs pretty quickly too! He didn’t have access to stairs in Puerto Rico!
He is currently being fostered with five dogs and does great with them! He loves running around the backyard and playing with them as you can see from the video!
We know he would be good with cats as well given his age and personality.
He is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations.

We strive for our dogs to be adopted into the right home. The best fit for the dog is our priority.
Please make sure you are ready to properly exercise and give a dog all it needs for fulfillment. Your ongoing time and day-to-day commitment are the most important things in caring for a dog.
In addition, we cannot guarantee breed of any dog, exact age or expected adult size of a puppy. Please note that even house-trained dogs will need help transitioning to an adopter's home and schedule. Thank you for understanding.
