THIS IS AN "OUT OF TOWN PET" - that means he is not at this location, but we do arrange transport here - more about transport below. Our Rescue is Houston based (https://www.facebook.com/TwilightTailsRescue) and all our fosters and Rescue Ranch are in and around Houston.
Angus has arrived and we have all taken notice!!!
Angus was surrendered to us from a family who could no longer care for him.
This stunning English Sheepdog has grown from the adorable little fluff ball he was when they got him at 8 weeks old, to a 60 pound and growing goofy and stunning dog.
Angus is about a year old. He will get neutered on 6/15 and will be available shortly thereafter. He is already up to date on all his shots.
Angus was an indoor dog and must stay one. He loves a soft couch and a stuffie and a good meal in the company of his people. He is an active, social dog who needs a bit of training on the leash and in how he greets you (he currently likes to jump with enthusiasm).
He does not have an aggressive bone in his body and truly loves humans and other dogs...Angus hasn't been tested with cats.
He is playful, affectionate and looking to please his person. He is a terrific family dog. It is great if other dogs are in the home but not required.
Please apply only if you have time to work with him on his puppy behavior and are ready for a lifetime of love and kisses!
GETTING ANGUS TO YOU:
Angus is microchipped & vaccinated and soon-to-be neutered. He will benefit from being adopted by a dog-loving person who understands he has so much to offer but will need a little time to adjust and settle in with his new family.

Understanding transport: Once everything is all approved, dogs are scheduled on transport using AJC Rescue & Transport (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083418067425). Transport means dogs are carefully and thoughtfully moved via scheduled air conditioned/heated vans from our doggy ranch in Fulshear, TX to a location near you. Each transport consists of a team of two drivers who can alternate. This is how we communicate in real time. The driver who is not driving, will be updating the group chat. You will be included in this group chat to track your dog through transport. You will also be given exact location and scheduled time of arrival. Our drivers do everything possible to run on time however, things such as traffic, weather etc. can affect arrival time. You will updated regarding delays or possible early arrival. Keep in mind, dogs on transport stop for bathroom, walk and food breaks. For safety, all dogs are crated during transport.
