Willow is currently being fostered in the Houston, TX area and can be transported to you.

Meet Willow, a beautiful one-year-old Pointer mix with a stunning brown and white coat, soulful big eyes, and a smile that will melt your heart. When she first came to us, she had been abandoned at an apartment complex and was frightened, underweight, and unsure of the world around her.

Since then, with plenty of love, patience, and care, she has blossomed into a happy, affectionate young dog who is ready for a fresh start. Her resilient spirit shines through every day as she continues to gain confidence and discover how wonderful life can be.

Willow is adaptable, eager to please, and loves being around people. Whether she is sharing her bright smile, enjoying playtime, or simply relaxing by your side, she brings joy wherever she goes. This sweet girl has overcome so much and is now looking for her forever family who will cherish her as much as she deserves.

Willow is heartworm negative, has had her vaccinations and is being scheduled for her spay next week. She is microchipped and healthy, although skinny, currently weighing a skinny 22 pounds. Willow's foster is working on potty-training, and she is making great progress!

Willow is curious but not aggressive with cats and gets along with dogs as well.

Willow will benefit from being adopted by a dog-loving person who understands she has so much to offer but will need a little time to adjust and settle in with her new family.

NOTE: THIS IS AN "OUT OF TOWN PET" - that means she is not at this location, but we do arrange transport here - more about transport below. Our Rescue is Houston based (https://www.facebook.com/TwilightTailsRescue) and all our fosters and Rescue Ranch are in and around Houston.

Currently this dog is being fostered at our Rescue Ranch near Houston, TX and can be brought close to your home on rescue transport which comes through your area once a month. Transport info below.

Adoption fee is $395 plus $30 for a health certificate and $260 for transport.

Understanding transport: Once everything is all approved, dogs are scheduled on transport using AJC Rescue & Transport (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083418067425). Transport means dogs are carefully and thoughtfully moved via scheduled air conditioned/heated vans from our doggy ranch in Fulshear, TX to a location near you. Each transport consists of a team of two drivers who can alternate. This is how we communicate in real time. The driver who is not driving, will be updating the group chat. You will be included in this group chat to track your dog through transport. You will also be given exact location and scheduled time of arrival. Our drivers do everything possible to run on-time however, things such as traffic, weather etc. can affect arrival time. You will updated regarding delays or possible early arrival. Keep in mind, dogs on transport stop for bathroom, walk and food breaks. For safety, all dogs are crated during transport.
