Meet Umber a tiny little bear coat.

She adores other dogs and is going to do best in a home with at least one other playful dog. She is a bit shy meeting new people.

She needed to be lifted into the car for car rides but rides nicely in the car. She is working on her leash skills and learning that new things aren’t really that scary.

She loves being outside so ideally a yard for sunbathing would be her first choice.

The Shar Pei is a distinctive breed known for their deep wrinkles and blue black tongue. Originally from China, these medium sized dogs are loyal, independent, and protective of their families. Shar Peis have a unique appearance with a hippopotamus like face and a broad, padded muzzle. Their coat can be either horse coat or brush coat, coming in a variety of colors. While they can be aloof with strangers, Shar Peis are devoted companions with a calm demeanor, making them wonderful family pets.
