Shar Pei Dogs Available for Adoption in Lake Forest, California

Sienna is another one of our itty bitty trio that came to us from a rural AZ shelter.

This little girls eyes were terrible but her vision seems minimally compromised. She has had Entropion surgery and is turning into a very playful girl.

This is another girlie that would do best in a home with another dog or dogs. She loves to play and will curl up on a dog bed with another dog.

She seems to like her crate but would prefer to share that space with another dog instead of being in the crate alone.

She loves meal time and will jump around and making little squealing noises like a little piggy. We have witnessed no food aggression and is more than happy to share her bowl of tasty bounty.

The Shar Pei is a distinctive breed known for their deep wrinkles and blue black tongue. Originally from China, these medium sized dogs are loyal, independent, and protective of their families. Shar Peis have a unique appearance with a hippopotamus like face and a broad, padded muzzle. Their coat can be either horse coat or brush coat, coming in a variety of colors. While they can be aloof with strangers, Shar Peis are devoted companions with a calm demeanor, making them wonderful family pets.
