DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Double the Love, Double the Joy – Meet Sky & Summer!
Some friendships are simply meant to last forever, and that's exactly the case with Sky and Summer. Sky, an adorable little Schnauzer mix, and her best friend Summer, a sweet Yorkiepoo, have spent their entire lives side by side. Through every tail wag, nap, and new adventure, they've always had each other. Now, they're searching for a forever home where they can continue their journey together. We will prioritize a suitable adopter who will take both, but will consider separated adoptions if we are not able to find the right person or family for both together.
If you've ever dreamed of having two loving companions, these sweet girls are ready to fill your home with twice the happiness, twice the cuddles, and twice the unconditional love. Both Sky and Summer are incredibly sweet, friendly, and get along wonderfully with other dogs.
Sky recently completed treatment for heartworm after testing positive, and thanks to K-9 Lifesavers, she's recovering beautifully and feeling better every day. Their greatest wish is simple: to stay together with a family who will cherish them both. Do you have room in your heart and home for two little girls who have never known life without each other? Apply today and consider giving them the happy ending they've been hoping for!

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
