DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Pup Simba! Simba and his sister Pup Kiara found themselves in a tough spot — a very full shelter in Georgia — but their luck is about to change. Thanks to K-9 Lifesavers, these two made their way up north and are ready to find the forever homes they truly deserve! Simba is a beautiful Mountain Cur mix (our best guess!) who is fully vetted and ready to go. He's everything you'd hope for in a pup:

Simba is at his prime age for training and socialization, which means he's like a little sponge just waiting to soak up all the love and lessons his forever family has to offer. Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.

Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
