Zola - Rottweiler Dog for Adoption in Polk, Ohio

Hey everyone! My name is Zola.

Unfortunately, Im looking for a new home, again. Before anybody starts assuming the worst, let me clear a few things up. Im not being rehomed because Im mean, naughty, destructive, or secretly running a criminal enterprise out of the living room.

The truth is much simpler.

I live with a cat, and while I dont hate cats, I am a little TOO interested in them.
You see, Im a Rottweiler, and way back in the day my ancestors were working dogs that helped move and herd livestock. We werent just sitting around looking pretty (although Im very talented at that too). We were bred to drive cattle , move stock, and help farmers get the job done. So when something small and furry runs across the room, my brain sometimes says, EXCUSE ME, WHERE ARE WE GOING?
The cat would really prefer that I stop supervising its every move. So while I can coexist with cats, everyone agrees Id be happiest in a home where I dont have one to obsess over all day. Life would just be easier for everyone involved. Now that weve addressed the feline elephant in the room, let me tell you about ME.

Im a sweet, loving girl who adores my people. I love being part of the family, hanging out wherever you are, and making sure nobody has to go to the bathroom alone. I enjoy walks, toys, snacks, naps, attention, snacks, belly rubs, and did I mention snacks? nIm smart, eager to learn, and always ready to be involved in whatever my humans are doing. Whether were going on an adventure or having a lazy day on the couch, Im just happy to be included. I have a goofy side too. Sometimes I get the zoomies. Sometimes I make weird noises when Im excited. Sometimes I stare at you like youre the most fascinating thing Ive ever seen. Thats called love.

What Im looking for is pretty simple:
A forever home
 People to love
 No cats
 Occasional snacks (okay, frequent snacks)
 Toys would be appreciated

I promise to provide loyalty, laughter, companionship, and professional level cuddling services in return.
