Bruno - Rottweiler Dog for Adoption in Polk, Ohio

Hi, Im Bruno!

My story started with me wandering around as a stray in the heat. I was so exhausted that someone actually witnessed me nearly fall into a storm drain. Thankfully, they got me somewhere safe, and thats when my friends at Real Rottweiler Rescue stepped in and changed my whole life.

And now that Im safe, I think its important that you know exactly what kind of boy I am.

Im a young Rottweiler, and honestly, I might just be the definition of a Rottweiler.

Im goofy, Im playful, Im affectionate, Im loyal, and Im a professional upside down sleeper. I snore like a tiny freight train. And apparently, I am also a complete wiggle worm.

My friends tried REALLY hard to get some handsome, posed pictures of me, but staying still was simply not in my plans. So instead of beautiful portraits, youre getting action shots because apparently I have places to go, things to investigate, and absolutely no time for nonsense like sitting still for a camera.

Im good with other dogs and pretty easygoing with my canine friends.

But there is something really special about me.

I BOND HARD.

When I decide youre my person, thats it. Youre MY person.

I want to follow you from room to room. I want to be wherever you are. I want to hang out with you, make you laugh, curl up next to you, and probably somehow manage to take up way more space than a dog my size should reasonably be allowed to take.

I dont just want to live in your house. I want to belong to YOU.

I want my person. My family. My best friend. My forever.

And maybe thats why Bruno Mars feels like the perfect soundtrack for my life, because theres a little bit of Bruno in me too.

Just the Way You Are

Because thats exactly how I hope my family will feel about me.

I dont need to be perfect. I dont need to be fancy. I dont need to be anything other than Bruno.

The goofy boy who sleeps upside down.

The wiggle worm who ruins every photo.

The Rottie who occasionally snores like he pays the mortgage.

The loyal boy who wants nothing more than to love his people with his entire giant heart.

Maybe Im also a little bit Count on Me, because when I love you, you can count on me to be right there beside you. Every single day.
