Good with dogs? Yes, he is fine with all other dogs, and mostly ignores them.

Good with cats? Yes, he is good with cats.

Good with kids? He will do best with older kids who can read his body language.

Energy level: Low. He enjoys time in the yard, taking in every fresh and exciting moment, including seeing squirrels! He probably never had access to outdoor recreation before, so he does not want to come in for bedtime. He prances around the yard and has not yet played with toys.

Animal Characteristics: Lenny is a sweet, curious, cautious pup who loves to explore his yard and observe happy things going on around him as he learns how to enjoy his free, new life. He likes to explore his house and sit near you. He was rescued from a hoarding house and is acclimating to a loving, nurturing environment. He is much braver than his other rescue friends and seems to have the potential to be a little mischief maker once he becomes more confident! Lenny is nervous around new people. He allows petting, kisses and baths, and is a Velcro dog who needs to be near his human. He does not know any commands, but he loves being praised as he learns! He is crate trained and completing his potty training. Lenny is a precious pup with a fun personality that’s ready to emerge, as long as his adopter is willing to wait a little while before they can cuddle him!
