Energy level: Low, with occasional zoomies! He is not super interested in toys and mostly wants to snuggle with you.

Medical needs: Patches is FIV+. FIV is a feline-only retrovirus that affects a cat’s immune system. Patches is currently asymptomatic and in good health. An adopter should be aware that a FIV can make a cat more vulnerable to other medical issues because their immune system is not as strong as an FIV cat. FIV is not transferable to humans or dogs and can only be transferred to other cats through a deep bite.

Animal Characteristics: Patches is a super sweet, friendly, cuddly boy who settles into his new home quickly and absolutely loves his people! He likes to be held like a baby, purr, and sleep with comfort and safety in your arms. Patches also loves to meet new friends and soak up attention. He loves to snuggle or at least be in the same room with you, and if you’re busy, he will look out a window and watch the neighborhood. Patches is completely adorable, gives the best hugs and is ready to be loved and cherished in his forever home!
