Good with dogs? Yes, Parker lived with about fifty dogs in his prior situation and currently lives with five mellow dogs of various sizes. He plays, sleeps and cuddles with other dogs, then will assert himself if he wants individual attention from his human! He is very eager to soak up all of the human love he can get.
Good with cats? Not Tested
Good with kids? Not Tested
Energy level: Medium. He will play with stuffies on his own and hop around with other dogs in the house, but he is also very content to snuggle on the couch or on the bed for chill time.
Medical needs: Parker’s dental health must be monitored by his adopters throughout his lifetime, since his teeth were previously neglected. He’s already had dental surgery with PawsCo, may have another dental visit soon, or if an applicant wishes to adopt him very soon, PawsCo will cover the visit.
Animal Characteristics: Parker is an energetic, playful, fun, affectionate pup who loves to be loved! He is a sweet, funny little character who is tremendously appreciative and excited to finally have a normal life as a beloved pet. He was rescued from an indoor hoarding situation and is learning all about being outdoors, going out to potty and walking on a leash. Parker is smart, eager to please, and busy picking up on new routines. He sometimes rests in an open crate as a safe space and rides in a carrier when in a car. He is the one quiet dog in his house at mealtime, and mainly barks when someone comes to the door or when he’s playing with other dogs. He is a little shy when meeting new people, but his love of affection wins out. Parker has come a very long way with building trust and confidence, and will thrive with a patient adopter who will continue his training and socialization. He loves to snuggle on the couch or in bed, and is very ready for his loving forever home!
Please learn more about the adoption process and fill out an application at www.pawsco.org/adopt/adoption-process. My adoption fee is $300. You can also contact my friends at PawsCo at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org if you have questions. I look forward to meeting you!
