Misty - Poodle Dog for Adoption in Alafaya, Florida

AN INQUIRY FROM PETFINDER IS NOT AN APPLICATION! READ THE ENTIRE POST FOR INFORMATION HOW TO APPLY.

Meet Misty! Misty is a 9 year old female poodle and she weighs about 10 pounds. Misty arrived in rescue after her previous home could no longer care for her. Her foster mom says: Misty is a sweet, gentle girl who loves attention and affection from her people. While she isn't a velcro dog who needs constant contact, she does like knowing where her family is and feels happiest when she can keep an eye on her favorite humans. Misty is making great progress with her house training and uses a pee pad most of the time. She's also crate trained and settles in nicely when it's time to relax. Around the house, Misty is generally calm, easygoing, and content to do her own thing. The outside world can be a little overwhelming for her. Traffic and unfamiliar surroundings make her nervous, and she is not comfortable walking on a leash. Because of this, Misty will need a securely fenced yard where she can safely go outside and explore at her own pace. Misty gets along well with other dogs and can enjoy playtime with them, but she also appreciates having her own space and isn't looking for a constant playmate. She may bark occasionally to let you know what's on her mind, but overall she's a pretty chill companion. Misty would thrive in a patient, understanding home that can help her continue building confidence while appreciating the sweet, loving dog she already is. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a gentle heart and a laid-back personality, Misty may be the perfect match for you.

Misty is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped and has had her teeth cleaned.

Misty is fostered in the Orlando area and her adoption donation is $350. Thank you!
