Meet Ruby! Ruby is a 4-5 year old female corgi and she weighs about 28 pounds. Ruby arrived in rescue after being surrendered from a home with to many dogs that could not care for them. She did arrive heartworm positive, but has been treated and is doing great! She has settled into foster care and is starting to thrive and is ready for a forever home. Her foster dad says she would like to introduce herself: Hi, my name is Ruby. I’m a friendly and sweet little girl, but I tend to be skittish at first until I get to know you. However, I get along well with older kids and other dogs once I am comfortable. I have a laid back and “chill” personality and I’m not a big fan of toys, but if you have treats I'll be there! I currently sleep well through the night in my crate, but I do not like being in there during the day. When it's time to eat, I like to throw all of my food on the floor...this lets me pick out the perfect kibble to enjoy...just go with it. Anyways, if you’re looking for a loving new friend and companion who is full of personality, you should definitely pick me!

Ruby is spayed, up to date on vaccines, on flea and heartworm prevention, microchipped and has had her teeth cleaned.
