Hank is an absolutely gorgeous 3-year-old Pomeranian, but that is stating the obvious. He wants you to know that he is so much more than a fluffball with a pretty face and that he is looking for a special family who will help him thrive and give him the great life he deserves.
First off, the wonderful things about Hank: he has a heart of gold and welcomes every person into his home with enthusiasm. If you are looking for a relationship of mutual adoration, Hank is your guy. He loves cuddling or hanging out quietly near his humans, sleeping on the big bed, is always up for an adventure, is excited for every opportunity for a walk or hike, and is definitely a snack enthusiast. He gets along well with the male and female dogs in his foster home ranging in size from 5 to 35 pounds, and would be happiest with a playful, friendly, outgoing canine sibling, particularly if his humans are away for extended periods of time. He has done well with housebreaking when kept to a consistent schedule. He has not been around children but would likely be fine with middle and high schoolers. His future family should know that he is leash-reactive to people and other dogs, manifesting as excitement and lots of barking. If he thinks a potential walk is on offer, he will race his person out the door and he is fast! He therefore will thrive best in a dog-experienced home in a quieter setting; he would be a challenging fit for apartment/townhouse life.
