Tricia, or "Punkin," as her foster mama lovingly calls her, is a gentle little soul who loves to love. If you're looking for a little shadow, a permanent lap warmer, and a professional cuddler, you've found your girl! Tricia is a 100% certified Velcro dog. Wherever her person is, that's exactly where she wants to be. And bedtime? Well, that's her favorite! She loves nothing more than snuggling under the covers, tucked in right beside her person. Personal space is simply not something this little princess believes in. And those sweet eyes with her delicate white eyelashes! She'll have you wrapped around her tiny little paw in no time.

Tricia has the sweetest personality. She's gentle, relaxed, affectionate, and just the right amount of funny. She's not a wild child by any stretch of the imagination. She's more of a 'let's take our time and enjoy the little things' kind of girl. She enjoys going for walks, but don't expect to break any speed records! Tricia believes in leisurely strolls, stopping to smell the roses, and taking in the scenery. She's got nowhere to be and absolutely no reason to hurry. Tricia is a very polite little lady who knows that potty business belongs outside. She won't necessarily tell you when she needs to go, but she's wonderful about holding it until it's time to head outdoors. Of course, she appreciates a consistent potty routine, just like any good girl.

She's also discovering the wonderful world of toys! Watching her learn how to play has been such a joy. She's especially fond of toys with squeakers, and seeing her little personality come alive as she figures things out is just precious. Now, when it comes to food, let's just say our girl has refined tastes. She's a picky eater, but really, what else would you expect from a princess?

One of the most beautiful things about fostering Tricia has been watching her slowly come out of her shell. As she's grown more comfortable with her foster mama and her two foster brothers, a Chihuahua and a Pittie, we've started seeing these wonderful little glimpses of the girl she's becoming. You can see it in her eyes. She gets these little bursts of excitement, like she has SO much she wants to say and tell you, but she's still just a little too reserved to let it all out. It's as if her personality is right there, bubbling beneath the surface, waiting until she feels safe enough to let it loose!

And I'm here to tell you, I believe there's a wonderfully outgoing, playful, funny little girl just waiting to blossom! We're already seeing those glimmers, and it's been such a gift to witness. She's doing beautifully with her foster brothers, both big and small. She's easygoing, peaceful, and just happy to be part of the family. What Tricia really needs is a forever person who will love her deeply, welcome her endless cuddles, and give her the time and security to continue becoming everything she was created to be.
