BISCUIT — 12-Week-Old Plott Hound Mix
Sometimes the smallest ones need someone to fight the hardest for them.
Meet Biscuit, a beautiful 12-week-old brindle puppy who is hoping his whole life is about to change.
Biscuit is currently only about 10 pounds, but we expect him to grow into a handsome medium-to-large boy of approximately 50–60 pounds. We believe he may be a Plott Hound mix, although with a rescue puppy like Biscuit, his family tree is anybody’s guess.
What we do know is that Biscuit was born into circumstances no puppy gets to choose.
He and several other puppies are currently living in a very difficult environment, and a kind woman has stepped in to help care for them and give them a chance. She and the rescue are working together to get these babies out of their current situation and into safe, loving homes as quickly as possible.
And despite his rough beginning, Biscuit still loves people.
He is a sweet, curious little boy who is just beginning to discover what life can be. At 12 weeks old, everything is new — toys, adventures, training, cuddles and hopefully very soon, having a family of his own. Housebreaking is currently a work in progress, as you would expect with a puppy his age.
The rescue is also working on getting Biscuit dewormed and brought up to date on his age-appropriate vaccinations. His adopter will receive the available veterinary information and the rescue will explain any remaining vetting requirements.
Biscuit doesn’t need anyone to feel sorry for him.
He needs someone to change his story.
He needs a safe place to sleep, a full belly, someone to teach him how to be a good boy, and a family who will make sure the difficult beginning of his life becomes nothing more than a distant memory.
At only 12 weeks old, Biscuit has his entire life ahead of him.
Maybe the person reading this is the reason the rest of it will be wonderful.
Please consider giving Biscuit the fresh start he’s waiting for.
