They named her Little Bit, and right now the name fits perfectly. She’s just 13 weeks old, weighs about 10 pounds, and is still figuring out this great big world one tiny adventure at a time.

Little Bit is the kind of puppy who makes you imagine the years ahead. The first night she falls asleep beside you. The first toy she decides is her absolute favorite. Learning to walk on a leash, discovering that car rides lead to adventures, and eventually becoming that grown-up dog who somehow knows exactly when you need her beside you.

Right now, though, she’s simply a baby.

Little Bit enjoys people and has been around other dogs. She’s at the perfect age to join a family and begin learning what life as a loved family dog is all about. House training and all those other puppy lessons will need patience and consistency, but that’s part of the deal when you bring home a youngster.

The rescue is working on her deworming and age-appropriate vaccinations as she gets ready for the next chapter of her life.

We don’t know exactly what breeds went into making Little Bit, and frankly, she doesn’t seem too concerned about it. She knows the important things: she’s little, she’s lovable, and she’s ready for somebody to choose her.
