Condensed Staff Assessment Notes: Diamond was cautiously open during her assessment, showing some discomfort but recovering quickly when addressed appropriately. Initially hesitant to be touched, she soon displayed enjoyment in handling.
She had a lot of energy and enjoyed playtime, exhibiting bursts of "zoomies." While she was familiar with most toys, she was unsure about the squeaker pig. Diamond played mostly independently, but we had some tug sessions, and I waited for her to lose interest before retrieving toys to avoid causing her discomfort.
Outside, Diamond was enthusiastic and curious, exploring her surroundings and meeting a new person. However, she was more reserved with another dog, showing stiff body posture and discomfort during close interactions, though she briefly displayed play behavior before tensing up again.
