Twizzler - Pit Bull Terrier and Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Sumter, South Carolina

Meet Twizzler!

Twizzler is one of eight puppies born in South Carolina, and he learned about heartbreak long before he learned to walk straight. His mama was hit by a car, and she dragged her injured body into the woods to get away from the road. Twizzler and his littermates were there when she died.

A loss like that could have broken a tiny pup, but Twizzler stuck close to his brothers and sisters, and they carried each other through the worst of it. When rescue found them, he finally had a safe place to land, and he’s been wiggling and tumbling his way back to being a happy puppy ever since.

This playful little boy has a whole life ahead of him and a heart ready to love again. He needs a family who will stay, a family who will show him that the people who love him come home every day.

Will you be the one to give Twizzler a forever home?

Adoption fee: $550. Includes transport to the Midwest, Northeast, or Southeast.
