Butterfly is a shy girl that wants love. She does well with other dogs and could live with another confident dog to help her come out of her shell. Butterfly would do best with respectful children 12+ possibly younger. She would love to show you how much potential she has with some positive reinforcement.

!!URGENT!! This pet is on our urgent list! They need out of the shelter by 5/2 at 4pm with a rescue pull! This date can be moved up due to lack of space! Meet Butterfly (#A-141531). This stunning 50lb brindle Pit mix was found as a stray in the Forrest/Laurel area and is currently shut down. While she was fearful and growling upon intake, she is clearly a dog who is simply overwhelmed by the shelter environment. Butterfly prefers the company of a K9 companion over people. While we are so happy to see her starting to open up, she is still going to need work to learn to that we are here to help her. Can you give this "diamond in the rough" the specialized care and patience she needs to thrive? P.S she
walks amazingly on leash. She also was transported to the vet clinic to be spayed without issues. Age: 3 years Sex: Female Weight: 50 lbs
