Barnie is quirky, wiggly, and as happy as can be! Despite everything he has been through he is very trusting and dorky. Barnie does well with other dogs and could live with another dog that matches his energy. He would do best with respectful children 12+ possibly younger.

Barnie’s past is heartbreaking—and it speaks volumes about his strength that he’s still here and still full of life. He was found during a cock fighting raid in unimaginable conditions, chained up with a chain so heavy he could barely stand. Trapped in a place tied to violence and cruelty, he was severely emaciated and physically depleted. It’s clear Barnie endured prolonged neglect and hardship, the kind no animal should ever experience. Today, Barnie is a vibrant, goofy, high-energy dog whose whole body wiggles with excitement when he sees people. He greets the world with joy and curiosity, showing no shortage of affection or enthusiasm. Despite everything he’s been through, he still seeks out human connection and thrives on companionship. He loves getting out of his kennel, going on walks, and playing outside in the yards. His playful, quirky personality shines brightest when he’s given the freedom to move, engage, and just be a dog. Barnie also does well with other dogs and has shown that he can interact
appropriately, making him a potential fit for a home with canine companions given proper introductions and continued support. Barnie is looking for a committed home that can provide structure, patience, and continued positive reinforcement. He will benefit from consistency and an environment where he can safely channel his energy and continue building confidence.
