Casey is said to be SO dorky, super curious and fun, a velcro dog through and through! She does well with other dogs and currently lives with multiple dogs. Casey does well with respectful children. She even does well with cats.

Here is what shelter staff and volunteers have to say about Casey:
Casey has already survived more than most dogs ever should. Yet through every painful chapter she has endured, she has remained nothing but loving. This resilient little French Bulldog mix came to us after a life believed to be filled with backyard breeding and neglect, and despite everything she has endured, her spirit is still golden! Shortly after arriving at our shelter, Casey underwent an emergency C-section after laboring for over 24 hours out in someone's yard and being unable to deliver her puppies on her own. Tragically, all four puppies had passed, and Casey herself was fighting to stay with us. After making it through that surgery, she went into foster care with our shelter director to recover, but her journey was far from over. Casey suffered a devastating complication when she reopened her incision, exposing her internal organs, and had to be rushed back for yet another emergency surgery to clean and flush her abdomen and close her back up. Since then, she has been carefully monitored and has thankfully been recovering beautifully. Casey is wonderful with other dogs, incredibly affectionate, and absolutely devoted to her people. Casey is the definition of a Velcro dog — if you sit down, she is immediately curled up beside you (or preferably on top of you). She loves treats, toys, soft beds, and soaking up every ounce of affection she can get. She’s goofy, spunky, gentle, and surprisingly well-mannered considering the life she came from. Casey has fought unbelievably hard to be here, and now she just needs someone willing to give her the safe, loving future she has always wanted and deserved!
