Shih Tzu and Bichon Frise Dogs Available for Adoption in Princeton, Massachusetts

Meet Vito, a playful, active, and endlessly curious boy who is ready to find his forever family. Vito and his sister were abandoned together in a crate outside a vet office, both severely matted, malnourished, and clearly neglected. Despite his rough start, Vito has grown into an incredibly sweet and loving dog who enjoys every bit of affection and attention he can get.

He loves running and playing with other dogs, rolling around in the grass, and then stretching out on his favorite patio couch to soak up the sun. While he has plenty of energy, he also appreciates a cozy big dog bed when it's time to relax.

He does well with older children and enjoys canine companionship, but Vito would not do well in a home with cats, as chasing them is simply too tempting for him.

Vito is both house trained and crate trained, and in foster care he has already mastered kennel, sit, place, and stop commands. He is very food motivated and eager to learn. Because he is still young, curious, and a bit chewy, presently he should be crated when left home alone to keep him safe and out of trouble.

Vito walks nicely on a harness and leash and especially enjoys walks alongside his foster dog sibling. He also LOVES car rides and happily settles into a seat or travel kennel for adventures.

Vito's ideal home would include a great backyard where he can safely play and explore, along with other small dogs to romp around with. Since he can be a bit of an escape artist, a secure fence would be best, but not required, for this adventurous boy.

Vito has a fun-loving personality and truly enjoys life and will thrive with a family who will shower him with love and make him a true part of their lives.
