Meet Lana — a tiny, absolutely stunning Shih Tzu/Morkie mix with the most beautiful chocolate brown and cream-colored coat you’ve ever seen. At only about 1 year old and 10 pounds, this little girl is full of personality, affection, and playful energy. She’s also considered non-shedding, making her a great option for those looking for a low-shed companion, though she will require regular grooming to keep her gorgeous coat looking its best.

Lana came to us as a stray from the Central Valley, arriving dirty, underweight, and understandably confused about the world around her. While we may never know what she’s been through, one thing is certain — she has not let it dim her spirit. Since entering foster care, she has blossomed into a happy, social, and loving little dog who is thriving in a pack environment.

She’s very friendly and outgoing, enjoys the company of other dogs, and has also tested well with cats. While she hasn’t formally been tested with children yet, we have no concerns about her temperament. Lana is currently working on both house and crate training and is doing well with consistency and routine.

This sweet girl would thrive in a home ready to continue her training, socialization, and daily exercise needs. She would especially love a home with a yard where she can zoom around, sunbathe, and roll happily in the grass — some of her favorite activities. She also loves cuddling and would make an amazing walking companion for someone looking for a loyal little sidekick to share life with.
