Meet Petey!

If youre looking for the life of the party, Petey is ready to bring the fun! This adorable little guy is the smaller, spunkier brother of the litter, with a playful personality thats guaranteed to keep you smiling. At just 10-12weeks old and currently weighing just under 14 pounds, we expect hell grow into a wonderful medium-sized dog, likely 40-60 pounds full grown.

Petey came to us as a stray from Californias Central Valley, where sadly no one came looking for him. Thankfully, those days are behind him, and now hes thriving in foster care, where his silly, affectionate personality shines brighter every day.

Curious, confident, and always ready for his next adventure, Petey loves to wrestle with other dogs, chase toys, zoom around the yard, and then curl up for a well-earned nap. Hes incredibly smart, eager to learn, and loves being part of whatever his people are doing. With the right guidance, hes going to make an amazing hiking buddy, family dog, and lifelong best friend.

Like any puppy his age, Petey has no formal training yet. Hes just beginning to learn about house training, crate training, and basic manners, so hell need a family committed to continuing his training, socialization, and providing plenty of physical and mental enrichment as he grows.

Petey will continue his puppy vaccine series over the next six weeks before hes ready to safely explore public places, but now is the perfect time to find the family who will help shape him into the incredible dog hes meant to be.

His ideal home includes a house with a securely fenced backyard, an active family ready for all the joys (and occasional chaos!) of puppyhood, and, in a perfect world, another playful dog to help burn off his energy and teach him how to dog.

For application updates, forwarding requests, or any questions, contact us at adopt@underdogca.com. This is also the best way to submit additional documents or information. We do keep applications on file for 90days in case the dog you apply for it already adopted or not the right fit simply email us to forward your application on to another dog of interest.

Our dogs are in foster homes all over the Bay Area and all adopters are required to travel to the foster home to meet. We do not have a facility. No meet and greet can happen until application is completed.

Our Commitment to Our Dogs
Every dog in our care receives comprehensive veterinary care, including:
Spay/Neuter surgery
Microchipping
DHPP vaccination
Flea treatment and deworming
Rabies vaccination
Any additional vet care as needed

The adoption fee for this dog is $400 serving as a non-refundable donation to help cover vetting, transport, and care costs. Adoption fees may vary based on specific dog and needs.
