Boone is the total packagea handsome, affectionate, and easygoing young dog who is ready to find a family of his own. At just 8 months old and 37 pounds, hes the perfect medium-sized companion, with an expected adult weight of around 45 pounds. While his breed mix is a mystery, we suspect he may have some Labrador Retriever and Terrier in his family tree.

Boone came to us from Californias Central Valley after being found as a stray. Sadly, no one came looking for him, but hes proving every day that someones loss will be another familys greatest gain.

When Boone first arrived, he was understandably unsure of his new surroundings. Since then, he has absolutely blossomed. His confidence grows daily, and hes turning into quite the social butterfly. He loves meeting new people, enjoys making canine friends wherever he goes, and approaches life with a happy, eager attitude.

Dogs are truly Boones favorite thing in the world. He absolutely thrives around other dogs and would love a home with a playful, friendly canine companion. Having another dog helps bring out his best qualities and gives him the confidence to continue exploring the world. He gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes, is respectful around cats, and would do well with children past the toddler stage.

Boone is doing fantastic with both house training and crate training. Hes a smart, sensitive boy who wants nothing more than to make his people proud. Whether its joining you for an adventure, playing with his dog friends, or relaxing at your feet after a long day, Boone is happiest simply being part of the family.
