*****Ronald is part of a FEE WAIVED Adoption event "Pup-kin Spice Season" sponsored by the MSPCA. WARL and 8 other shelters will be taking part in this event. Sept 25-27th from 12-2 pm each day.******* (Normal application sprocess will still apply)
Ronald McDonald is a 2 years old male Pit Bull Terrier/Mix who weighs 47 pounds.
Meet Ronald McDonald! Ronald came to us as a stray, so much of his background is unkown. Despite a tough start he has quickly won staff over with his playful and goofy personality!
Ronald loves to spend his time outside romping around with stuffies and then relaxing with a bully stick or cream cheese Kong. He has mastered sit and is working on down and drop it. He is extremely food motivated and is hoping to find adopters who can continue putting his brain to use!
Ronald McDonald prefers to be where his people are and thrives when he feels included. He loves attention and will even rub against your leg when he's wanting more pets.
Ronald is wary meeting dogs and can take a few minutes to become comfortable. He might enjoy a calm friend who can give him some space initally and doesn't mind if he comes on a little strong. Ronald is still working on his leash manners and can be a little jumpy so a home without young kids would be the best fit.
