Rana is a 1 year, 7 months old female Short Coat Chihuahua/Mix who weighs 8 pounds.

Rana is a spicy Chihuahua mix who knows exactly what she wants in life: a peaceful home, plenty of walks, endless adoration, and a throne to call her own!

This little lady feels the world deeply and is selective about who earns a place in her royal court. Once she trusts you, Rana is affectionate, snuggly, and delightfully dramatic. However, she is not a social butterfly and has no interest in entertaining a revolving door of visitors. Large apartment complexes will not be a good fit, because she shrieks at dogs and people she is not comfortable with. Walking in the neighborhood and socializing? Pass.

Rana is looking for a quiet, adult-only home where she can be the only dog and the center of attention. Her adopters must understand that she will likely not enjoy visits from grandchildren, neighborhood kids, or unfamiliar guests.

For someone who appreciates a little queen with boundaries, a flair for drama, and plenty of love to give, Rana is ready for her fresh start!

If you have room in your home for a sweet little queen, Rana is ready for her throne. If you are interested in adopting Rana, please come to the shelter on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during our walk in adoption hours of 12-4pm. If you have other household members they must come as well.
