Well, bless her little puppy heart - Iris traveled all the way from Alabama with her sister, Violet, and now she's ready to find a family to call her very own!

Iris is a 4-month-old tan pup rocking a fabulous black mask that makes her look like she's planning the world's cutest puppy heist. (Don't worry...the only thing she's stealing is hearts.)

Being a puppy means every day is an adventure. Leaves? Fascinating. Squeaky toys? The greatest invention ever. Your shoelaces? She simply needs to inspect them. Thoroughly.

Iris is curious, goofy, fearless (she's a Parvovirus survivor!), and is convinced that every person she meets is her best friend. She doesn't care if she's going for a walk, heading to the medical room for a checkup, or taking part in playgroup, Iris is excited to be included!

Once you leash her up and take her out of her kennel, she has the most endearing way of skipping along beside you, looking at you like she's been waiting for you to show up.

Iris may have started her journey in Alabama, but she's ready to put down roots in the Chicago area. She'd love a family that's excited to teach her all the important grown-up dog things - like where to potty, how to sit politely, and the art of personal space.

In return, Iris promise endless laughs, puppy kisses, a lifetime of adventures, and enough wiggles to brighten even the gloomiest day.

If you're looking for a best friend who will grow up right by your side, you should meet Iris. After all, every great adventure starts with one little puppy...and she happens to be an excellent choice.

Iris's adoption fee is $450. This animal is spayed, and is up to date on core vaccines.

She will need a Heartworm test between 6-7 months of age at the adopter's own vet.

Since she is a puppy, any adopter should anticipate needing to work on housebreaking and other training using positive reinforcement training only.
