Athena - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Wheeling, Illinois

Meet Athena! Athena came to us from Chicago Animal Care and Control after she was surrendered there by her previous owner. An amazing foster home was able to give her a break from the shelter while she was getting ready for adoption. Here is what her foster mom has to say about her:

"Athena has the sweetest, gentlest soul. From the moment you walk through the door, she's there to greet you like she's been waiting just for you. She never misses a chance to snuggle, especially at bedtime, when she'll happily curl up right by your side. She absolutely loves kisses and always finds her own little way to give them back. Athena has so much love to give, and anyone lucky enough to call her family will quickly discover she's the kind of cat who makes every day a little brighter."

Athena is spayed, up-to-date on FVRCP and Rabies vaccinations, and FIV and FeLV negative.
