Like Doogie Howser, MD, our own Dr. Nevis is young, small, and ready to scrub in! And by "scrub in" we mean dive into playgroup, toss stuffies in the air, and look real cute while doing it. Dr. Nevis is named after one of our shelter vets, and they are both delightful!

The canine Dr. Nevis comes to us from Alabama, where his story has a rough beginning. He was found by a kind bus driver after he had been dumped on the side of the road, and was just skin and bones. The good samaritan got him help, and Dr. Nevis made his way into the best foster home down there where he flourished among his foster family's other dogs.

At around 10 months old, Dr. Nevis is the perfect little size and has the best personality. We are all obsessed with him! He's playful, smart, affectionate, anis just the cutest boy who always makes us smile. He gets along with every dog he has met...even some of our dogs who are more selective about their dog friends love Dr. Nevis!

He knows how to sit on command, and is a very polite and dainty leash walker.
Dr. Nevis has just the right amount of puppy playfulness without being over-the-top. He doesn't need much - just a person or a family willing to give him the love he's always deserved.

Dr. Nevis's adoption fee is $375. He is neutered, up to date on core vaccines, and Heartworm negative.
