Meet Tejano!

Tejano is a friendly bundle of charm wrapped in soft white and gray fur, with bright, curious eyes that always seem to be searching for the next adventure. Though small in size, his personality is anything but-he's playful, mischievous, and endlessly affectionate. Whether he's chasing after imaginary prey, curling up in a warm sunbeam, or gently pawing for attention, Tejano has a way of stealing hearts without even trying.

He's equal parts explorer and cuddle expert: one moment scaling furniture like a fearless climber, the next purring contentedly in your lap as if there's nowhere else he'd rather be. With his sweet nature and irresistible charm, Tejano isn't just a cat-he's a little spark of joy that brightens every room he wanders into.

Tejano came to Heartland at the end of March from Chicago Animal Care and Control where he had been turned in as an owner surrender. He has a huge bite wound on his neck and he was limping on his paws and the people who turned him in thought that he may have been bitten or attacked by some raccoons that were hanging around their house.

But the good news is, Tejano has healed nicely and he is now ready to find his forever loving home!

He is neutered, up-to-date on his FVRCP and Rabies vaccines and he is FIV and FeLV negative.

Tejano is currently staying at our Heartland Facility! We are open Thursday 4 pm-7 pm, Friday 4 pm-7 pm, Saturday Noon-6 pm, and Sunday Noon-6 pm. Feel free to stop by to meet him! No appointment necessary.
