Venus and her sister Serena made their way to us from Kentucky, and they are each ready to serve up the love! These "sisters" (maybe?!) are part of a large group of pups, all said to be related, who were relinquished to a rural shelter down there.

Serena is a perfectly petite little lady at just 27 lbs. She is very striking with her longer, border-collie-ish coat, and her fluffy fox tail and little ankle socks are just too cute! Not only is Serena a beauty, but she is so darn nice too. Both she and her sister are the kind of dogs who just melt into you-gentle, affectionate, and adoring.

Serena loves people of all ages, and she gets along well with other dogs. Serena is the more outgoing and goofy sister. Serena likes all eyes on her, and loves to entertain herself and her admirers by tossing her toys in the air and adorably pouncing on them, over and over.

While leash walking is still a newer skill for both of them, they've already improved so much in just a couple of days-they're eager to learn and want to please.

Whether they're leaning in for pets, quietly following you around, or playing with dog friends, these sisters bring a calm, loving energy wherever they go.

Venus and Serena get along really well, but they are not a bonded pair!

Venus's adoption fee is $375. This animal is spayed, up to date on core vaccines, and Heartworm negative.
