Beckham is the sweetest survivor, and we feel so fortunate to have him at Heartland. He's the definition of a diamond in the rough!
At around 1 year old, Beckham has already overcome more than any young dog should have to. This sweet boy came all the way from our rescue partner in Alabama after surviving a gunshot wound to his leg. Thankfully, he's doing great now and is ready to leave his difficult past behind and start the next chapter of his life!
If there's one thing Beckham hasn't lost, it's his happiness! He was in a foster home in Alabama, and when we asked them to describe him, they said "This boy is happy, happy, happy all the time!". Beckham loves making friends with both people and other dogs. If you show him even the slightest attention, he curls into you and tries to give you his paw. He's just an absolute love.
Now, Beckham is looking for the one thing he deserves most: a family of his very own. Someone to share adventures with, make memories with, snuggle up beside, and remind him every day that his best days are still ahead and he's worth loving.
Beckham has survived some sadness, now it's time for his happily ever after. Could you be the one to give him the forever home he's been waiting for?
Come meet Beckham and let this happy boy steal your heart!
Beckham's adoption fee is $300. This animal is neutered, up to date on core vaccines, and Heartworm negative.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
