MEET #BUSTER — THIS ONE HURTS.
Imagine making it all the way to your senior years... only to find yourself alone, wandering as a stray with no one coming to bring you home.
Buster was found as a stray in Niles, and we believe this sweet old man may have been dumped. He appears to be a Boston Terrier or Boston Terrier mix, with that unmistakable little tuxedo face. His cloudy eyes and frosted features tell us hes definitely a senior who has lived a whole lot of life already.
And at this stage of his life, Buster should be curled up on a soft bed beside someone who loves him — not stuck at a shelter wondering where everyone went.
Sadly, Buster also has a tumor near his rectum that is not operable. We dont know how much time this precious boy has, but we DO know that whatever time he has left deserves to be filled with comfort, kindness and love.
And this old gentleman still knows how to tell us what he needs. When Buster has to go potty, he barks to let us know he needs to go outside. That little thing tells us so much. At some point, Buster knew what it was like to live in a home.
We would absolutely LOVE to find a medical foster for him.
He doesnt need anything fancy , just some attention, a quiet place to rest, some grass beneath those old paws, good meals, and someone who will make sure he knows he matters.
Please... dont let Buster spend this chapter of his life in a shelter.
