If you did a double-take when you saw my photos, I think I may be the one you've been looking for.
My name is Sonnet. I'm an incredibly sweet, 10-years-young, 40-pound, mixed breed girl who wants nothing more than a loving family and soft place to rest my head. I'm fully potty, crate and leash trained. I get along with other dogs, but if you're home more often than not, I don't have to have a canine sibling. I think kind humans of all ages are great - but because I'm deaf, tiny humans might tend to startle me, and they tend to carry around really yummy-smelling snack --- the temptation --- yikes!
I would be happy in a home with a fenced yard, or in an apartment (with basic potty breaks and walks, of course). I might even enjoy being your partner in a big rig. Honestly, I'm just anxious to be part of a family again. I do take an inexpensive allergy med now. That may be something that continues, especially during the spring/summer months.
I shared a sonnet below. I think it speaks to you and me. If it's possible that I am the ONE you've been looking for, just complete the app so we can meet:

Sonnet to My Canine Friend
"With wagging tail and eyes so bright,
You chase the sun and bound the night.
No words you speak, yet love you show,
A bond that time and seasons know.
Through joy and sorrow, you stand near,
With gentle paws and steady cheer.
No judgment in your gaze so deep,
Just warmth that never can be steep.
You teach me how to live and play,
To cherish each day, each day.
Your loyalty, a gift so true,
A love that’s mine, and mine is you.
So here’s to you, my faithful friend,
A love so pure, a heart so kind."
My adoption fee is $75 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
