Meet Dallas!

At about 3 years old and 16 pounds, Dallas is a charming terrier mix with a heart full of love and a face that will melt you on sight.

Dallas knows no strangers and seems to believe every person he meets is a potential new best friend. He happily soaks up attention and will gladly settle in close for pets and cuddles. Those eyes are pure liquid sunshine, and one look is usually all it takes to win people over.

This sweet boy is house trained and crate trained. In fact, he settles best when home alone in his crate, where he feels safe and comfortable. He has done well with respectful children. While we are still learning about Dallas with other dogs, when introduced to a Great Dane, Dallas was friendly and wasn't intimidated by the size difference one bit!

While he loves being with his people, Dallas also has a cozy side. In true terrier fashion, give him a blanket and he'll happily burrow underneath it for a nap. Whether he's snuggled beside you on the couch or following you from room to room, he's happiest when he's part of the action.

Dallas would love a home where he can be an active member of the family and enjoy plenty of companionship. He may be happy as an only dog soaking up all the attention, or he may enjoy a canine sibling-we'll continue to learn more as he settles into rescue.
