OUT-OF-TOWN Dogs with NDR refer to dogs we have saved that have yet to make their journey to Ontario. These dogs are currently in our care with the help of our partners in the area. These dogs will all travel to the Niagara Region once an appropriate adopter or local foster is found.
Sweet little Blondie is a beautiful Golden Retriever mix from Mexico who is patiently waiting for someone to give her the second chance she deserves. Blondie was rescued on a rainy night after being found abandoned and tied to a tree. We can only imagine how frightening and confusing that must have been for her.
Despite everything she has been through, Blondie has remained incredibly sweet, gentle, and trusting. We believe Blondie once had a loving home because she is so well behaved and comfortable indoors. She knows how to settle down, loves being close to her people, and will happily lay beside you and simply enjoy your company. She has such a calm and tender nature that makes her incredibly easy to love.
Blondie is cute, affectionate, quiet, and gentle. She isn't looking for much — just a safe place to call home, a cozy spot to rest, and someone who will love her for the rest of her life. We think Blondie would be especially wonderful for a senior or a calm family looking for a peaceful and loving companion. She has so much love to give and is more than ready to leave her difficult past behind. Please give this sweet girl a chance. Blondie has already been through so much, and now she deserves the happily-ever-after she has been waiting for — a forever family where she will never again feel abandoned or alone.

ABOUT: GOLDEN RETRIEVER DOG BREED
The Golden Retriever is a friendly, intelligent, and gentle dog breed known for its golden colored, water repellent coat. They are highly sociable and great with families, children, and other pets, making them popular as therapy and service dogs. With a love for outdoor activities and water, Golden Retrievers excel in various dog sports like agility and obedience. They require regular exercise, mental stimulation, and grooming to maintain their health and happiness. Overall, the Golden Retriever is a versatile and beloved companion dog breed.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
