OUT-OF-TOWN Dogs with NDR refer to dogs we have saved that have yet to make their journey to Ontario. These dogs are currently in our care with the help of our partners in the area. These dogs will all travel to the Niagara Region once an appropriate adopter or local foster is found.

Gordito (20260806-02)
DOB: 12/01/2025 Estimated
Age: 8 months
Weight: 31-40 lbs
Spayed/Neutered: Yes
Gordito's story began with heartbreak. At just three months old, he and his nine siblings were abandoned in a vacant lot in Mexico, left to fend for themselves with little chance of survival. They were frightened, hungry, and far too young to be on their own.
Despite the odds, these puppies fought with everything they had. Tragically, only three of the nine siblings survived. Gordito is one of those incredible survivors—a little soul whose resilience shines through every day.
Today, Gordito has left his difficult past behind and has blossomed into a wonderfully affectionate, friendly dog. He loves being around people, enjoys giving and receiving affection, and has a gentle, loving nature that makes everyone who meets him smile. He doesn't let his past define him; instead, he greets each day with hope and an open heart.
Now, all Gordito needs is a family to call his own. A home where he will be cherished, spoiled with love, and never have to wonder if he'll be safe again. After everything he's overcome, Gordito deserves the comfort of a warm bed, kind hands, and a family who will love him for the rest of his life.
Gordito is ready to fill your home with unconditional love, endless cuddles, and gratitude that only a rescued dog can give.
