OUT-OF-TOWN Dogs with NDR refer to dogs we have saved that have yet to make their journey to Ontario. These dogs are currently in our care with the help of our partners in the area. These dogs will all travel to the Niagara Region once an appropriate adopter or local foster is found.

Buddy was found roaming along a very busy street, and whether he was dumped or escaped, he was lucky to find his way into rescue. He is happy, playful, affectionate and incredibly inquisitive. He loves being involved with his people, checking out the yard, following you around and coming back inside for snuggles and nose kisses.
Buddy is smart and eager to learn, but he does best with human interaction, structure and continued training. He is crate trained, although he may pout and negotiate for a treat before going in! He is not destructive and has never torn things up, dug holes or gotten on the furniture.
One of Buddys most adorable traits is his pout. If he doesnt want to come inside or go into his kennel, hell give you the saddest look until you kiss his nose and promise him a treat. Then he reluctantly agrees—while making sure you know he isnt happy about it!
Buddy also has built-in weather radar! He can sense an approaching storm and will start pacing. He feels safest in a small, dark space, so covering his kennel helps him settle and feel secure.
Buddy is wonderful with kids and does well with other dogs. His high energy means he would do best with an active family who can provide daily exercise, play, training and plenty of attention. He loves having a yard to explore and then coming inside to be with his people.
Buddy is not food aggressive, is not leash reactive and is not destructive. He is simply a big, goofy, energetic boy who wants to be part of the family.
He may be a little stubborn. He may test you. He will definitely pout. But underneath it all is a sweet, affectionate boy who just wants to belong.
Buddy is ready for someone who will love his big personality, laugh at his silly antics and give him the structure and guidance he needs to thrive.
