Hi, Im Blue a 6-month-old, 28 lb Husky mix with a soft heart, a calm little spirit, and the kind of sweetness that makes people feel comfortable around me pretty quickly.
Im still young, but Im not a wild, bouncing-off-the-walls kind of puppy. Im chill, docile, calm, sweet, and loving basically the kind of boy who gives you puppy charm without making your whole house feel like a circus, but still can be playful and fun.
My energy level is medium. I enjoy life, attention, treats, bones, and happy moments, but Im not looking to turn every minute into a party.
Im good with everyone dogs, cats, kids, adults, and strangers. I have a gentle, friendly way about me, and Im the kind of puppy who could fit beautifully into a family that wants a loving companion with a softer personality.
Im crate trained, house trained, quiet, and non-destructive. I also sleep through the night, which is a pretty wonderful thing to be able to say about a 6-month-old puppy.
I like pets, treats, and bones. I dont need a complicated life to be happy. Give me a kind person, a cozy routine, something tasty to chew, and a little love, and Im doing just fine.
Im up to date on my vaccinations, and Im ready for a home that understands Im still young and will keep helping me grow with patience, guidance, and love.
My story is simple. I was given as a gift, but my owner is heading to college and could not keep me long-term. I was loved, and now Im looking for the home that can be my true forever.
My ideal home could have kids, kind people, or someone who wants a young dog without the hyper puppy chaos. Apartment living could be okay for me too, as long as I get my daily walks, routine, attention, and time to be part of the family.
I can picture peaceful mornings, cozy evenings, quiet companionship while you work from home, family time, snowy little walks, and settling in like I have always belonged.
Im not looking for just any home. Im looking for the right match someone who sees my calm nature, my sweet puppy heart, and my easygoing personality, and knows Im exactly the kind of dog they were hoping to find.
I was rescued in Texas and Im looking for a foster-to-adopt family in the northern states. That means you get 2 to 3 weeks to try real life together the home routine, the kid-friendly moments, the quiet crate time, the walks, the treats, the bones, and all the everyday things that help you know if we are truly a fit.
Theres no pressure in the process. If for some reason Im not the right match, my rescue will quickly find me another home so everyone stays supported and safe. Its a thoughtful way to make sure my forever family is truly the right one.
Transport runs every other weekend, and Ill be making my trip north soon. Pickup locations are East Hartford, Connecticut and Brattleboro, Vermont. Maybe well meet at pickup, and Ill be the calm, sweet boy ready to start my next chapter.
The best way to apply for me is through the website: www.rociosrescues.org
You can also email rociosrescues@yahoo.com with questions. Petfinder inquiries sometimes go to spam, so applying through the website is the best way to make sure your application is seen.
I have a feeling my person is out there... and if youve made it this far, I think we might need to meet.
