Hi, I'm Barney, a handsome, easygoing fellow with a big smile and a calm heart. I'm 6 years old, about 60 pounds, and the kind of dog who is happiest just being near my people. I'm super sweet, laid back, and past all that wild puppy nonsense, so you won't find me bouncing off the walls. I'd much rather hang out, enjoy some company, and settle into the good life with you.

I already know my basic commands, I'm house trained, and I have nice manners around the house. I'm also great with other dogs, even in group settings, which says a lot about what a good guy I am. I didn't mind cats during my cat test either, so I may fit right into a home with other furry friends.

My life changed when my family had to make a hard decision during a divorce, but I have kept my gentle spirit. What I want now is simple, a soft place to land, a person to love, and a home where I can be your steady, loyal companion.
