Hi, I'm Nelson, a handsome retriever mix with soulful eyes, a soft golden coat, and a heart that is every bit as sweet as my smile. I'm 2 years old, about 53 pounds, and I have that lovely middle ground energy, playful when the moment is right, but never too much. I'm the kind of guy who is happy to join you for some fun, then settle in and just enjoy being near my people.

One of my best qualities is how easy I am to live with. I'm wonderful on leash, truly a dream to walk, so if you're looking for a dog who makes daily strolls feel easy and enjoyable, I'm your boy. I'm good with other dogs, good with kids, and I even tested well with cats. I'm a friendly, affectionate companion who wants to be part of the family and share in the little things, walks, playtime, and those quiet moments at home.
