Meet Bill!

Bill is a sweet, shy boy who is learning that the world isn't such a scary place after all!

Originally on the euthanasia list at a California shelter, Bill was given a second chance and is now living in a wonderful foster home where he's making incredible progress.

Bill is naturally a little timid, but his foster has been putting in a tremendous amount of work helping him build confidence through training, socialization, and new experiences. And he's doing great!

These days, Bill's schedule includes weekend soccer games, meeting new people, exploring new places, and learning how to navigate the world with confidence. He's getting the opportunity to experience all the little things that so many dogs take for granted, and it's been wonderful watching him come out of his shell.

Bill is looking for a patient, understanding adopter who will continue building on the foundation his foster has worked so hard to establish. He may need a little extra time to warm up, but watching a shy dog gain confidence is one of the most rewarding experiences there is.

Bill doesn't need someone to feel sorry for him. He needs someone who will keep showing him what he's capable of.

He's already come so far, and we can't wait to see how much further he'll go with a family of his own!
