Meet the lovely Miss Maya!

Maya is a beautiful, approximately 6-month-old Belgian Malinois who was rescued from Apple Valley Animal Shelter in California, where she was scheduled to be euthanized alongside her sister, Mia.

Maya is a lovely, gentle girl with a slightly shy personality and so much love to give! She's dainty, affectionate, and incredibly sweet. While she can be a little reserved at first, she absolutely loves people and is happiest when she's getting affection and cuddles.

At just six months old, Maya has her whole life ahead of her! She's still learning about the world and will benefit from a patient, committed family who can help her build confidence through continued training, socialization, and positive new experiences.

As a young Belgian Malinois, Maya will thrive with structure, consistency, and opportunities to engage both her mind and body. We're looking for adopters who understand the breed and are excited to help this sweet girl reach her full potential.
