Seven - Belgian Shepherd Malinois Dog for Adoption in Duxbury, Massachusetts

Meet Seven!

Seven is a very special Belgian Malinois who has come an incredibly long way since being rescued from a California shelter.

Seven was originally an owner surrender, and when he arrived at the shelter, he was in heartbreaking condition. He was severely emaciated, suffering from a serious skin infection, and had lost nearly all of his fur. Thankfully, Seven was given a second chance, and his incredible foster has spent months nursing him back to health and helping him become the dog he is today.

Now healthy, happy, and thriving, Seven is ready to find his forever home!

Seven is a working dog through and through. He has tremendous ball drive, is highly motivated, and has already been introduced to odor work. He shows great potential for someone interested in detection work, dog sports, or other structured working activities. This is a dog who genuinely enjoys having a job!

Seven is neutral around other dogs and can potentially live in a multi-dog household with an experienced handler who understands appropriate management, structure, and introductions. He doesn't need canine friends to be happy — he'd be perfectly content having a job and a person of his own!

A little more about Seven:

- TREMENDOUS ball drive!
-Working prospect with an introduction to odor detection
-Athletic, driven, and highly motivated
-Neutral around other dogs; multi-dog homes possible with proper management
-Experienced working-breed handler required

Seven is not a beginner Malinois, and we're looking for someone who understands the breed, appreciates his drive, and can provide the structure and outlets he needs to thrive.

He's been in foster care for a long time, and while we're incredibly grateful for the love and dedication his foster has given him, we'd love nothing more than to see Seven find a permanent home where his potential can really shine.

Seven has already beaten the odds once. Now he deserves a person who sees just how much he has to offer.
