BASCO - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Cranston, Rhode Island

Meet Basco, a 1.5 year old gentleman who loves life from a lower vantage point. Being closer to the ground has its advantages, including easier access to snacks, lightning fast zoomies, and a highly efficient snuggle delivery system. This charming pup is proof that great things really do come in shorter packages. He just arrived at our rescue and is already making an excellent first impression with his big smile, happy spirit, and very serious commitment to being absolutely adorable.
Basco is the perfect blend of playful and snuggly. He loves people, enjoys playtime, and is always ready to lean in for affection like he has been personally assigned to improve your day. He is friendly with other dogs, walks nicely on leash, and keeps a clean kennel like the classy little dude he is. We're not sure how he feels about cats yet, but we do know Basco is sweet, cheerful, eager to please, and fully prepared to become someone's loyal sidekick. He may be shorter in the leg department, but he is extremely tall in personality, and he is ready to find a family who appreciates a compact king with a very big heart.

HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING:
- Come in during adoption hours to apply and fill out an application completely. We have applications on site. Open adoption hours take place at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI. We are open every Tuesday 2-6pm, Wednesday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm.

- We require proof of homeownership (tax form, deed, mortgage statement) or landlord approval (a copy of your lease that clearly states you are allowed to have a dog, puppy, cat, or kitten OR written and signed consent from your landlord.
- We require copies of up to date vet records for any current pets.

*We do not do same day adoptions.
*Please bring the entire family in to meet the animal you are interested in.
*We will setup a meet and greet with your dog at a later date. PLEASE do not bring your dog with you when you come in to apply.
